Gold Shield Technologies brings intuitive software products to public safety, local, state, and federal agencies, and the public sector. With an emphasis on the sending and receiving of mission-critical data and the dissemination of that information over a secure network. The Gold Shield team boasts over 100 years of law enforcement experience, comprising both retired and currently serving officers. Owner Francine Karp states that Gold Shield Technologies is the name you can trust for CJIS and NCIC access. When it came time to redesign, Francise was referred to Web Design by Robin by a trusted business partner.
How Our Digital Marketing Services Will Help Them Thrive
During our initial consultation, we listened as Francise explained that her company serves local municipal police stations and regional sheriff's departments throughout the United States. We learned what set them apart and what they specialized in. She described the software tools to us and explained how they benefit end users. We learned who would most likely visit the website to purchase their tools and services, and how they would like the website to work to maximize lead generation and take on everyday tasks to make Francise's work life more productive.

Alpine Elevator, located in Connecticut, is owned by Matthew Cote, a lifelong mechanic of all sorts, guided by an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep respect for quality craftsmanship. Matthew was referred to us by a friend when he was starting his business.
How Our Digital Marketing Services Will Help Them Thrive
During our initial consultation, we listened as Matthew discussed his business plans. We identified his ideal clients and marketed his ideal service offerings. The color scheme and banner images were chosen to enhance his business name and brand, including his logo, which we also designed. Simplifying the messaging was a main objective. The website is strategically designed to showcase Alpine Elevator's services and how easy it is to work with them. They want building and property managers to find the website and take action to hire them very quickly. Most elevator work requests are emergency situations, and response is vital. Matthew offers 24/7 emergency repair services. This is great for those unforeseen circumstances. Long-term, however, Matthew would like to add clients to regular maintenance and reconditioning to avoid emergencies.
Matthew was a pleasure to work with. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him from the start of his business venture.

Spotlight Client: Snake Meadow Club, Danielson, CT
Snake Meadow Club, Inc., located in eastern Connecticut, was founded in 1925 to provide members with facilities and land to promote the conversation of fish and game, the opportunity to practice safe and proficient hunting and fishing practices, and the transmission of outdoor and sporting activities to the next generation. They are dedicated to hunting, fishing, and shooting history and traditions.
The previous website needed to be updated as it was outdated. The club could not maintain the content themselves, and the site did not represent who they are today or work for them to make their jobs easier. Membership wanted more from their website, so the board worked to piece together a wish list for the new site. Web Design by Robin was approached to quote the redesign. We were very excited to be selected for the redesign and ongoing partnership with such a great club.
How Our Digital Marketing Services Will Help Them Thrive
During our initial consultation, we learned what they wanted the new site to be like. They wanted a website that focused primarily on members but also educated the public about who they were and what they did. They said very few in the community even know they exist. They have several public events each year in addition to membership-only events. We created the tools for them to post events. Each time they post an event, they can select an icon, category, and whether it is public, membership only, or both. Membership events are not shown from the public view; members can see all events if logged in along with other member only pages.
Content they can manage!
Snake Meadow Club is a thriving group with so much to offer; adding the image galleries showcasing the fields, ponds, and facilities was so much fun. They are now able to update the content and images themselves. They can add new galleries for the latest events, update membership roles, and keep members informed of the latest club news.
They provided us with their new logo, and we designed the new website to follow the color scheme.
Before and After Website Redesign
We enjoyed working with the Snake Meadow Club and turning their website into a resource for members to utilize and enjoy. This website is only phase one of the project. The new website was very well received. Phase two of the project will incorporate a whole host of added functionality requested by its members. Now that they see the value of having a high-functioning website, they want to do more with it. We look forward to continuing to work with them for years to come.

This website was an idea he had on how to make the process clear and easy for those interested in learning more about his brokerage. Rather than answering the same questions over and over, he decided to create videos that address the questions most often asked by real estate agents considering a move or starting in the business. The website is friendly and easy to navigate. Everything is right there for you to find. This website removes the barriers; it's straightforward and to the point.

This website design project was designed in conjunction with the launch of the new business. As they were making decisions about how they wanted to run the school, we were rolling those ideas into a comprehensive website that includes all areas of study, instructors, books, a class calendar, and a study bot! Yes, you read that right. They have a study buddy program to help students prepare for the Connecticut Real Estate Exam. We really enjoyed working on this project and love seeing the school grow and evolve over time.
